Member Rules
Rules and Regulations for JALZISCAA Members
All members of the Jalpaiguri Zilla School Alumni Association (JALZISCAA) are expected to adhere to the following rules and regulations:
General Code of Conduct
Members shall maintain the dignity and prestige of the association at all times and shall not engage in any activity that may bring disrepute to the association or the school.
Membership Rules
- Membership is non-transferable and can only be used by the registered member.
- Members must promptly notify the association of any change in contact information.
- Regular members must renew their membership annually by paying the prescribed renewal fee.
- Membership cards must be carried during association events and produced when requested.
- Members must participate in at least one association activity annually to maintain active status.
- The Executive Committee may suspend or terminate membership for violation of rules or conduct detrimental to the association.
Rights and Privileges
- Right to attend all general meetings of the association.
- Right to vote in elections (for members with voting rights as per the constitution).
- Right to contest for positions in the Executive Committee (subject to eligibility criteria).
- Access to association facilities and resources as determined by the Executive Committee.
- Participation in all events organized by the association.
- Receive regular updates and newsletters from the association.
Financial Rules
- Annual membership fee for regular members: ₹500
- Lifetime membership fee: ₹5,000
- Late renewal penalty (after grace period): ₹100
- Membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Members with outstanding dues will not be eligible to vote or contest in elections.
- Special contributions for specific events or causes may be requested separately.
Disciplinary Procedures
The Executive Committee may take disciplinary action against members for:
- Violation of association rules and regulations
- Conduct detrimental to the interests or reputation of the association
- Misuse of association resources or facilities
- Non-payment of dues for an extended period
Disciplinary actions may include:
- Written warning
- Suspension of membership privileges
- Termination of membership

These rules are subject to change as per the decisions of the Executive Committee and General Body. Members will be notified of any changes through official communication channels.
